Efuru Nwakuche
Born November 13, 1983; Efuru is the last of Dr. Emmanuel (Late) and Chief (Mrs) Dolly Nwakuche’s 5 beautiful children.
She started her education at Alvan Ikoku College of Education Primary School Owerri and proceeded to secondary school at Federal Government Girls’ College, Owerri (class of 1999).
In 2000, she was admitted into Abia State University (ABSU) where she studied Political Science due to her interest in Nigerian politics and an interest to go into government and other national leadership positions. After graduating from ABSU, she completed her National Youth Service Corps in Lagos and proceeded immediately to Brunel Business School, Uxbridge, United Kingdom for a Masters in Business Management.
Upon her return to Nigeria in 2007, she joined JD Capital Limited as a Senior Analyst and left to join Sahara Group in 2008 where she spent 9 years in different roles spanning across supply chain, business development, trade, trade operations among other roles in 3 countries.
In 2017, Efuru capitalized on gaps in the Oil and Gas industry that she could fill, and began her entrepreneurial journey with Reeve Energy (www.reeve-energy.com) with the support of her team, family, and good friends who have stood by her through the highs and lows.
Efuru’s outside of work is fun-loving, she enjoys listening to music and watching true crime documentaries, loves to travel to experience the rich culture of other countries, a certified foodie. She is very humble, loyal, passionate, giving, and adores her family and close friends.
